Former USC offensive coordinator and current Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Norm Chow withdrew his name Thursday from consideration for the UCLA football coaching job.

Chow said in a statement through his agent Don Yee: “I appreciate the interest UCLA has shown and the opportunity to speak with them about their head coaching position. While I was told our meeting went very well, I was given no indication as to what their final decision will be or what their timing is to make that decision. Nevertheless, I’ve decided not to pursue things further with UCLA at this time. My focus is with the Tennessee Titans and preparing our team for a chance at the playoffs.”
